Things aren’t perfect but I’m definitely much better. I came from a religious background in the era where purity culture was rampant, which I think partially fed into having this disorder.We've used a small amount of lube with 2% lidocaine previously with good results. Forcing yourself to go through the pain can make things worse. The exam for vaginismus is much less intense than a pap smear.
