I always pick at least one of the two in Dark Souls, adds flair for me. I know Magic is supposed to be OP, not usually a fan of easy mode but I do really like how spells look this go-around.Both boost magic damage. Infuse a light weapon like an estoc with magic scaling to use incase you needed to melee. Note the build is weak against anti magic players and faith users (faith increases magic resistance) and certain anti magic tank builds. In pvp your disadvantaged in melee so keep your distance and stay unpredictable while casting.
